Hello! I'm Kyle and I am the owner/founder of Troutdoors Marketing and media.

I am fortunate to call Bend, Oregon my home. I relocated to Bend after leaving the United States Navy in 2012. In the Navy, I spent time in Illinois, North Carolina, Afghanistan, and Okinawa, Japan. After 5 years away from the Northwest, I was ready to return! Once in Bend, I grabbed a fly rod and hit the local waters. There was so much exploring to do in the area, I was hooked! I was fishing any moment I could get. Meanwhile, I was attending classes at C.O.C.C. and Oregon State University-Cascades with the end goal of earning a Bachelors Degree in Tourism and Outdoor Leadership with Minors in Business and Sustainability. My four years of school in Bend were incredible! I scored a sweet job with Fly and Field Outfitters, working in the shop and then eventually splitting time between the shop and guiding folks around Central Oregon. I earned my degree in the June of 2016 and spent the rest of that summer guiding and working at the fly shop. In the fall of 2016, I took a job with an awesome local outdoor company. In May of 2017, I left that awesome job and started Troutdoors Marketing and Media.
